After his debut film ‘Akhil’ bombed at the box office, Akhil Akkineni is taking his time to finalize his next project. The actor has been linked to many directors in the recent past, but none of the projects got finalized. After staying mum for quite some time now, the star son has finally spoken about his next venture.

Akhil opened up about his next film and said that the flick will be a fresh, urban love story laced with lots of entertainment. Reportedly, the actor this time will have scope to show his acting skills. Speculations were rife that Vamsi Paidipally will helm the next venture of the actor, but there has been no confirmation from either side.

Reports suggested that Akhil’s next film will be with Mythri Movie Makers. But the actors thrashed the reports and tweeted, “I don't know where you websites get your info from. My second film was never supposed to be produced under Mytri banner. False info”. According to reports, the script work for his next is almost complete and the venture will kick-start in June.
