Akhil Akkineni Wants This Bollywood Actress For His Next!

Akhil Akkineni was lately in the news when he called off his engagement to childhood sweetheart Shriya Bhoopal. The last we heard about the actor was that director Vikram K Kumar has written a love story for Akhil but Nagarjuna asked him to make amendments in the story and it was later made a fantasy story. While the movie was scheduled to be launched in the first week of April, the constant poking of Nagarjuna has caused it delay.

The makers are yet to finalize a female lead for the flick. A birdie chirped in our ears that Akhil wants Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt opposite him in the flick. As per a source, “It’s still not known whether the actress has thought about the project, but Akhil is trying his luck through Karan Johar and his father’s contacts. Nagarjuna and Mahesh Bhatt are also good friends as they worked together earlier for a film”.

Initially, Megha Akash was earlier roped in for the flick but she got busy with her prior commitments. Helmed by Vikram Kumar, the film is being bankrolled by Akhil’s father Nagarjuna. As far as Alia is concerned for the film, we know the two will look good together onscreen and we are waiting.
