Akhil Akkineni’s Debut Film Postponed Due To Technical Difficulties

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film has been indefinitely postponed from its initial release date of October 22. The reason behind this was stated as technical difficulties. This has come as a news of disappointment for the fans as they wanted to see Nagarjuna’s younger son in action.

According to a twitter post made by the producer of the film Nithiin, “Due to delay in graphics work, we are unable to release Akhil on October 22. Sorry for the delay, will announce the new release date soon”. In a press conference, Nagarjuna stated, “Baahubali has changed the entire landscape of the film industry and we do not want to present to the audience something that is sub-standard. The entire film is ready, except for a tiny portion where the graphics need to be worked upon and the VFX needs further enhancement. That part is critical to the movie so as a result Akhil won’t be able to release as planned on October 22”.

Nagarjuna reassured that the hype for the film will not die down and that the people should stay just as excited as they are now. He stated, “Of course, it is disappointing. I’m myself very disappointed and naturally fans will be upset. However, I have seen Akhil dance and I was astonished how well he had done. When he came home, I asked him where he learnt to dance so brilliantly. Once fans see him on-screen, they will forget about it”.
