Blow for NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa team as DOP Muraleedharan walks out

Cinematographer CK Muraleedharan, best known for his work in films such as 3 Idiots and PK, was making his Telugu debut with NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa when he signed on to the project a few months ago. At a time when everything was going smoothly and in the favour of the film, reports have emerged that the Johnny Gaddar cinematographer opted out of the project due to an alleged ego clash with director Bobby, and has apparently been replaced by Chhota K Naidu. When we did some digging to find out more about what really happened, we found out that he chose to exit the project for a different reason altogether.

“There’s absolutely no truth in reports that he chose to leave the project due to clash over ego with the director. Muralee was working on a tight schedule and he had to leave the project because he had other commitments. Chhota K Naidu, who has worked with NTR on a few projects, has been brought in as his replacement. The shooting has not been disrupted as per some reports that are doing the rounds,” a source told HT.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that the much-awaited first look poster of the film will be released on Friday, on the eve of NTR’s birthday. In the film, he plays triple role and will be seen romancing Nivetha Thomas and Raashi Khanna. For one of his roles, NTR will be seen wearing prosthetics and his look is being handled by Hollywood make-up artist Vance Hartwell, popular for his work in films such as The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Shutter Island.
