Doing a Telugu film was the best experience of 2015 for me: Liza van der Smissen

Making her first appearance In the Bollywood film Welcome To Karachi last year, Liza van der Smissen has reached new heights with Nannaku Prematho. The dancer turned actor played the role of hacker who helped NTR in the film. She has also made appearances in Love Shuda and Kumari 21 F.

Liza shared, “I first appeared on the Indian silver screen in the Bollywood film Welcome To Karachi (2015). I also had a small part in Love Shuda. So when Sukumar sir was looking to cast someone to play my role, he seemed to have liked my profile and I was called for an audition. And the rest, as they say is history”.

The actress also shared that she wanted to do something different from the dance related roles she has done in the past. “Although the first few jobs I did after I graduated were still related to dance, soon I got a chance to act in a short film. That is when my conviction became stronger about acting”, she said. Liza has made several friends in the industry including Kumari 21F actress Heeba Patel.
