Gautam Kurup To Star In Puri’s Film

Actor Gautam Kurup is all set to be a part of Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming Telugu film, Mehbooba. Earlier the actor was seen playing a badass in Dictator, which starred Balakrishna in the lead role. It seems the actor doesn’t mind stepping into the character of a baddie. He said, “Such roles are bringing me fame”.

The actor had also starred in hit movies like Thuppakki, Picket 43, Bhanwarey among several others. The actor said, “Puri is every actor’s dream director and I’m grateful to him for casting me. The film is an intense love story. I can’t reveal my role, but it’s an impactful one and a crucial part in the narrative”.

Moreover, he has worked as a line producer for more than 22 years. He said that movies like Jilla and Thuppakki helped brought him in the spotlight in the South Indian film industry. He also said that as he is in his 40’s he can play any role like a father, brother or a baddie. According to him, he has freedom and luxury to choose his roles.
