Gautami Putra Satakarni hit the theatres yesterday and is doing extremely well in Telugu states as well as abroad. The historical entertainer, which is Balakrishna's 100^th movie, also revolves around mother’s love too. The movie’s name itself shows that.

If reports are to be believed, the movie has started a new trend in the industry and its love for moms trend. The epic historical action film director, Krish, was the first person to change his name from Krish to Anjana Putra Krish in order to show his respect and love for his mom. This was followed by the flick’s lead actor, Balakrishna, who then changed his name to Basava Taraka Rama putra Balakrishna.

This became a trend and we saw actor Daggubati Rana changing his name to Lakshmi Putra Rana on Twitter profile. Let’s wait to see who else follows this trend. Gautami Putra Satakarni locked horns with Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 who released a day ahead of Satakarni.
