Geethanjali 2 To Roll Out Soon

Tollywood’s hit film Geethanjali released in 2014 under the direction of debutant director Raj Kiran. The Telugu comedy horror film was penned by Kona Venkat and had Anjali and Srinivas Reddy as the lead actors. The film turned out to be one of the best horror-comedy films.

Now, the film is all set to get its sequel. Recently, superstar Prabhudeva released the first look of Geethanjali 2 on his twitter account. The poster had actress Anjali with Geethanjali 2 written on it. Kona Venkat will be bankrolling the film under his banner Kona films Corporation in association with MVV Cinemas.

While it is confirmed that Anjali will play the central character, the names of rest of the cast is still awaited. Male lead is also not confirmed yet. This time, the sequel will be penned by an NRI. The movie was remade in Kannada as Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna.
