I Want To Be Different From Others: Poorna

Actress Poorna is going to be seen in director Muthaiah’s upcoming flick ‘Kodi Veeran’. The actress will be playing a negative role where she will be seen pregnant. The film also stars Sasikumar in the lead character.

The film demanded Poorna to shave her head. When the director asked her to tonsure her head the actress was shocked and asked him to give her some time to think.  However, later Poorna agreed. The actress said, “I was nervous and was hoping to complete it soon”. She further said that she knew the potential of her character and that is why she accepted the role.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old’s mother was not happy with her daughter’s decision. Poorna said, “She was unhappy, but I want to be different from the others. If I want to do realistic cinema and convince the audience in authentic roles, I have to walk the extra mile”. She said that there are a lot of surprises for the audience in the flick. The film is set to release in the end of December this year.
