Inspired by Sachin, megastar Chiranjeevi adopts a village

A few days back, demi-god of cricketSachin Tendulkar was in the headlines. The ‘Little Master’ has reportedly adopted a village named Puttamrajuvari Kandrika in Nellore District under the 'Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Following his footsteps, Megastar Chiranjeevi has decided to adopt Perupalam village, near his native place, Mogalthur in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi is expected to look after the development of the village. He will concentrate on providing water, medical and housing facilities to everyone. It is really a good move by the superstar. This venture will definitely inspire some other MPs to adopt villages and use the MPLADS funds effectively.
