Rakul Preet Singh is one of the leading actresses in Tollywood. She has also secured her place in Bollywood and is booked for two of the Bollywood movies in 2017. However, she said that she would continue venturing into other industries without letting go of her grip in Telugu cinema.

She said, “Each one has their own reasons, but for me, it’s the story that matters and not the language. We actors always try to experiment and look at a film as a whole. Today, everyone knows me because of Tollywood, so Hyderabad is my home”. On a related note, she will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu in Spyder which will release in September.

The actress made her debut in Bollywood with Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan in 2014. Rakul has been roped in to play the lead actress in Aiyaary that also stars Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles. Other Tollywood actress who ventured into Bollywood are Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Taapsee Pannu, Ileana and Pooja Hegde.
