Jiiva to lend support for Earth Hour 2013 global campaign

Global issues like climate change need strong public awareness and if popular actors like Jiiva come out to support the cause, it would appeal more to the common public. That may be the reason as Jiiva has joinedWWF-India to assure his support towards Earth Hour, WWF’s global campaign in 2013. The campaign aims to raise awareness on climate change, involving every single individual to observe it on 23rd March 2013, from 8.30 to 9.30 pm.

Jiiva stated,"I believe in the power of individual action, and am delighted to be associated with a campaign like Earth Hour. I am sure Earth Hour 2013 will inspire individuals to become more aware about their responsibility towards environment. If we want to live in a healthy and clean planet, we must also take action accordingly. When individuals will make the effort to change their behavior, together these actions will add up to make the required difference."

Earth Hour has already been quite successful worldwide to gain public support regarding the climate change issue.
