Kalki Team Erects Rs 2 Crore Set!

Popular actor Rajasekhar is all set to hit the sets for his upcoming movie, ‘Kalki’. For this, the actor is joining hands withPrasanth Varma and the team wants to make this venture a massive one. Kalki is a period film with the backdrop of Telangana in 1980.

Apparently, the filmmakers have spent a considerable amount of time during recce to search for suitable locations to shoot. After trying hard, finally they planned to recreate the same.  Three sets – Temple, a toddy centre and a local market have been erected on the city outskirts.  Close to Rs 2 crore has been spent to give a marvelous touch to the set and make it as real as possible.

The camera is set to role from September 19^th in Hyderabad. The film is produced by C Kalyan under the banner of CK Entertainments.  According to latest buzz the makers are planning to rope in Anjali to play the female lead role.
