Kochadaiyaan director wants to elevate post production standards in film industry

Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is debuting as director with her megastar star fatherRajinikanth’s much-ambitious filmKochadaiyaan, wants toelevatepost production standardsin the film industry.

The filmmaker is using techniques and visual effects on par with Hollywood’s standards to make the 3D film. She said, “My dream is to elevate the standards of post production in movies, and interlink it with a studio that is state-of- art, and to create IP in animation and break the myth that the medium will never be a main stream market”.Soundaryaadded, “We have abundant talent in India and I wish to give them all a platform. I also have plans of venturing into education and training in animation, visual effects and production related areas. I will be entering the 2D animation space with original content and focusing on the restoration market”.
