Kriti Kharbanda to play sister to Ram in Srinu Vaitla’s next

Kriti Kharbanda is making her comeback in Tollywood after two years. Kriti will be seen playing Ram Charan’s sister in Srinu Vaitla’s next yet-to-be-titled film. This is the first time she is working with Ram Charan.

A source from the unit confirms, "Yes, there's an interesting character in the film and the makers felt Kriti fitted the bill and they narrated the script to her and she was pleased to be part of the project". Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to romance with Ram Charan. DVV Danayya will be producing the film under his new venture DVV Entertainments.

"To be honest, I didn't give much of a thought to how this role is going to affect my career. People around me were more concerned. I agreed to play the role because I loved the character sketch. I had nothing to lose if I took up the role", Kriti confesses.  The Teen Maar star made her acting debut with Sumanth’s Boni in 2009 and was last seen in Kalyan Ram-starrer Om 3D (2013).
