Mahesh Babu out of Mani Ratnam's next?

Actor Mahesh Babu was reportedly going to be a part of director Mani Ratnam's untitled next, but the latest news has surfaced that Babu is no more a part of the film. A source informed, “There's been a change in the film's cast. While the film will have Nagarjuna playing one of the lead roles, the team is on the look out for a suitable star for the other role as Mahesh Babu had to opt out, ostensibly, due to date issues. The film will also feature several other top stars including Aravind Swamy.”

It is being said that the maker has already roped in superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni to play one of the leads in his flick. The female lead of the movie has not been decided yet. The source further told, “This film too will be a colourful film like Mani sir's Alaipayuthey and Geethanjali. Shooting for the film is likely to start in June.” Confirmed inputs about the cast and crew of the project are still awaited.
