Manchu Manoj turns action director and singer with Potugadu

Tollywood film actorManoj is an excellent actor and the audience is familiar with his acting skills but a secret about the actor has now unfolded that he is a good action director and singer too. The30-year-oldManoj is playing a lead role in the upcoming movie Potugadu and will be seen romancing four debutante actresses.

Manchu comments on the same, "All the heroines are making their debut with this film. I play a guy who is in love with all of them, in different phases of my life." He confirmed that he has recorded a song for this film, "I love the music in the film. The director and composer insisted that I sing and I did it for the first time ever." Talking about his role as an action director, he stated, "I love action sequences. Hiring a good action director was proving to be costly, as we had a certain budget. So I filled in. But before that, I showed the director my plan. Only when he agreed to it, did we go ahead with the idea. And thank god, they turned out well."

Manoj says that he is thinking of direction, "I would love to direct a film if I find a good script. But I won't act in it. I rather go with talented new artistes." Potugadu is a remake of Kannada movie Govindaya Namaha and will feature Sakshi Chowdhary, Simran Kaur Mundi, Anupriya and Rachel in lead roles opposite Manoj. The film is written and directed by Pavan Wadeyar and will be produced by Sireesha Lagadapati and Sreedhar Lagadapati jointly.
