Nee Jathaga Nenundali to spread the same magic as Aashiqui 2?

Soon after the trailer of Nee Jathaga Nenundali was released on Sunday, comparisons started flowing in as this Aashiqui 2 remake had the same flavour spread all over it. The remake stars Sachin Joshi and Nazia Hussain essaying the characters of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, respectively.

Directed by Jaya Ravindraa Nee Jathaga Nenundali’s trailer had much stuff to woo the audience only if they relate themselves to a story like Aashiqui 2. What was interesting that the makers have kept the USP i.e. music of the film intact. The composers are the same with Jeet Ganguly, Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari sharing their legacy forward. Same renditions and soothing tracks may well please the audiences down south too. The makers have definitely not looked to alter any major aspect of the movie keeping most parts the same and almost identical. What’s going to be interesting is to see if Nee Jathaga Nenundali creates the same buzz among the youth as Aashiqui 2 did all over.

The film that opens soon for the audience will have a lot to ask for. It’s sincerely tough to create the same magic as the original as the ‘not so very apt’ cast may make it even tougher. Well let’s wait and see what potential this Aashiqui carries and as they say, “the best way to answer critics is by performing”.
