No Nani in Vicky Donor remake?

News was doing rounds that Nani ofVeppamfame would be seen in the lead role in the Tamil-Telugu remake ofAyushmann Khurrana-starrerVicky Donor. The film, which was produced by John Abraham and directed by Shoojit Sircar, has been critically acclaimed for its offbeat theme of sperm donation.

But Nani has denied taking part in the remake saying,"Not true.” His spokesperson has detailed, "The actor is currently busy with Samuthirakani's project, and he also has to finish his other Telugu commitments. Meanwhile, he will also start work on the Tamil-Telugu remake of Band Baja Baaraat this year. He has too much on his platter now. It's highly unlikely that he will sign up to be part of Vicky Donor remake."

Earlier it was also said that Siddharth would star in the film but it was clarified later that he has been negotiating to acquire the remake rights of the film, and not to star in it.
