Raashi Khanna To Play Antagonist In Her Malayalam Debut Film 'Villain'

Raashi Khanna debuted as an actress with Bollywood film Madras Cafe (2013) and then ventured into the Tollywood film industry with ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ (2014). Since then, she has undoubtedly given a number of Telugu hits. Now, the actress is all set to make a mark in the Malayalam cinema with B. Unnikrishnan’s film ‘Villain’.

The thriller flick stars Mohanlal as the male lead. Earlier, it was reported that Raashi Khanna will be essaying the role of a cop in the film. The latest we hear about her role is that her character will have shades of grey.

A source was quoted as saying, “When the role was narrated to her, she was quite kicked about playing a baddie as this was something she has never done before. She’s really happy about how her role’s shaping up. She has nearly completed her work”.

On a related note, the movie also stars Srikanth in a pivotal role and will mark his Malayalam debut. In addition, the film will star Manju Warrier, Vishal and Hansika Motwani in other important supporting roles.
