Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan to appear offscreen together?

Big news for both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan fan clubs. The Kollywood biggies are all set to make a public appearance together not onscreen, but offscreen at the 100 days celebration of Prabhu Solomon’sKumki. A few months back the superstar duo also attended the music launch programme of the Vikram Prabhu-starrer, which was produced by N. Linguswamy. They have agreed to attend the celebrations to honour their close bonding with Sivaji Ganesan family.

According to reports, Kamal Haasan couldn’t refuse Linguswamy’s invitation as it seems to be his responsibility to attend the family function and he also wished good luck to the emerging star Vikram Prabhu. The film hit screens on December 14 in around 300 screens and it came out a blockbuster hit at the box-office. The story of an elephant with D. Imman’s background score was an immediate hit among the audience.

Now as the movie is nearing to complete the 100-days mark, producers Thirrupathi Brothers have planned to celebrate it big with Kamal and Rajini together on board. The director Solomon is planning his next film with Gautham Karthik while Vikram is busy shooting forIvan VeramadhiriandSigaram Thodu.
