Rajinikanth offered Rs 240 crore for next film?

If reports are to be believed then Tollywood megastar Rajinikanth has been offered a whopping Rs 240-crore by Hansraj Saxena, ex-CEO of Sun Group, for his next production venture and if the actor gives a green signal then this will be the highest ever fee paid to any Indian actor till now. According to sources, Hansraj, who has produced films likeCharulathaandShivaniso far, has asked Rajini to grant him just 30 days dates during which he plans to wrap up his big budget project.

However, it is reported that theEnthiranstar is still to decide whether he should go ahead with the project as he feels that the big amount invested in the film will affect the fortunes of distributors. Rajini will reportedly be paid Rs. 8 crore a day if he signs the film. Sources said that Telugu star Ram Charan is also likely to be part of this project.
