Rakul Preet Singh is the director’s choice over Hansika Motwani opposite Manchu Manoj

Model-turned-actress Rakul Preet Singh’s popularity meter among filmmakers is uprising post her success with Venkatadri Express. This fact has been hence proved as she has been signed up to play the lead actress opposite Manchu Manoj in a yet-to-be-titled film. The role was originally given to Hansika Motwani, as reported earlier.

In the untitled G. Nageswara Reddy project, now Rakul Preet will be seen as the female lead as the filmmakers have undergone a change in their choice. As revealed by Manchu, "We had initially thought of having Hansika but were having trouble getting her dates. So we decided to bring in Rakul.” Rakul marked her Bollywood debut this year with Yaariyaan and is looking towards a successful journey ahead with more films in her kitty including Rough in Telugu and Yennamo Yedho in Tamil.
