Ram Gopal Varma Compares S.S. Rajamouli To Steven Spielberg

Taking flattery to a whole new level, Ram Gopal Varma recently compared S.S. Rajamouli to Hollywood’s Steven Spielberg. “I just now came to know that the SS in SS Rajamouli stands for Steven Spielberg”, the director wrote in a tweet. However, S.S. Rajamouli stands for Srisaila Sri Rajamouli.

Rajamouli replied in a tweet, “Janam tho nannu thittinchadaaniki kaakapothe avasarama sir ippudu idhi (This will invite mockery from the public. Is this really necessary?”. Responding to that, RGV wrote, “Modesty beyond a limit is beyond arrogance sir”.

Ram Gopal Varma is highly impressed with Baahubali. The filmmaker previously said, “I don't care what Bahubali's cost is or what it will recover. It's like Taj Mahal for Indian cinema and will be a reference point for decades”. He even disclosed his wish to work with the ace director, writing, “Want to thank u Rajmouli as a film lover for having the Perseverance, patience nd above all the persistence to turn ur passion into Bahubali”.
