Regina Cassandra Says, ‘I’m Having Goosebumps’

The 27-year-old south actress, Regina Cassandra, is known for her splendid works in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. It was recently reported that the actress is all set to make her Bollywood debut in ‘Aankhen 2’. In her B-town debut flick, she will share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi.

The actress says, “I’m having goosebumps. Never even in my wildest dreams did I imagine making my Bollywood debut alongside a stellar star cast like this. I’m overwhelmed, excited and nervous at the same time.” She further disclosed that she never gave an audition for this film. She told, “It all happened organically. The makers liked my work in a few of my films in South and approached me through one of my PR friends in Mumbai. I was asked to fly down to Mumbai, so I just hopped down recently and got selected.”

Regina says, “Honestly, I am not all that fluent in Hindi. But I can speak, you know. I am positive I'll catch up soon. I’ll be giving it my best.” She added, “Cinema is something I have grown to like over the years; today it’s something I enjoy the most. The beauty of it is that language — be it Telugu or Tamil — has never been a barrier.”
