Regina Cassandra Set To Make Bollywood Debut

Latest news reveals that actress Regina Cassandra’s career is all set to take a U-turn. The actress, who has given outstanding performances in Telugu and Tamil, will now make her big Bollywood debut. According to reports, the actress will be a part of the upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga , which is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister Shelly Chopra Dhar.

Moreover, as per reports, the director was looking for a South actress, who has western looks and can perform well. After a couple of auditions, the makers of the film opted Regina to come onboard the film. Meanwhile, a source in the know said, “Though Regina is a familiar face in the South, she had no qualms in giving an audition, much like a professional.”

Apart from the actress, the film has an ensemble cast including Sonam Kapoor , Rajkummar Rao , Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla . The source further added that the director is quite impressed with Regina’s performance in her latest film Awe. The film is being bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
