Shriya Saran Heading Strong Into 2018

Nakshatram actress Shriya Saran seems to be on a roll and this is just the beginning of the new year. The actress is currently working on two projects simultaneously and according to reports, she is about to sign a third film. It is also being said that the actress will have a completely new avatar for the new film.

The upcoming flick will be the directorial debut of Sujana with Gnana Sekhar V turning producer. The music will be provided by Ilayaraja. Sai Madhav Burra is writing the dialogues for the project which is great because the writer was praised for his strong and impactful dialogues in ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ and ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’.

A source from the unit of the film shared, “The actress will be playing the role of a simple working woman from a city slum. The story is about her life’s journey”. The shooting is expected to start from March. Shriya was last seen in ‘Paisa Vasool’ which was directed by Puri Jagannadh and starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.
