Shruti Haasan to replace Tamannaah Bhatia in Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu?

If the latest buzz is to be believed then the budding actress Shruti Haasan will be replacing Tamannaah Bhatia in the upcoming Mahesh Babu-starrer action-entertainer Aagadu, as revealed by a close source.

The source close to the director said, "Shruti's name has come up for the lead role in Aagadu. However, nothing has been confirmed yet as Srinu Vaitla (director) has to take the final call. We should have some clarity in a couple of weeks.” A few months ago reports came up that Tamannaah has been roped in for the role but as Shruti is growing as one of the most popular faces in the industry, she was always there in the consideration. While Tamannaah’s last four Telugu projects proved flops at the box-office Shruti climbed the ladder with Gabbar Singh and Balupu.PresentlyShruti is awaiting the release of her Telugu romantic-drama Ramayya Vasthavayya.
