Shruti Haasan replaces Kajal Aggarwal in Gabbar Singh 2

Demand for a huge pay package was a mistake on the part of Kajal Aggarwal. She missed the chance to become the female lead in Gabbar Singh 2 opposite Tollywood’s power star Pawan Kalyan. Now Shruti Haasan, the latest choice for the role, didn’t repeat the same mistake.

After the behaviour of Kajal annoyed the film’s producers to a large extent, they thought of Shruti Haasan for the role and the actress gave a nod to it instantly. Shruti was also the lead heroine opposite Pawan in Gabbar Singh but initially the makers of the sequel was in favour of Kajal to make it this time. Presently Kajal is co-starring with Vijay in Jilla and Shruti is flying high with her upcoming Bollywood releases Ramaiya Vastavaiya and D-Day. She is also working on several other Telugu projects like Balupu, Yevadu and more.
