Shruti Haasan Roped In For Pawan Kalyan’s Next

Director S.J. Surya launched his next with Pawan Kalyan on April 27. The duo’s blockbuster film ‘Kushi’ also released on the same date 15 years back. While the team is busy with the pre-production activities of the film, the makers have finalized the female lead.

Reports suggest that Shruti Haasan will be seen playing the leading lady of the Powerstar in the flick. The two have previously worked with each other in 2012 hit action entertainer ‘Gabbar Singh’. The movie buffs are excited to see the hit pair once more on the big screens.

Reportedly, the Yevadu actress will join the sets of the yet-to-be titled film after wrapping up her father Kamal Haasan’s upcoming trilingual ‘Sabaash Naidu’. Sharrath Marar will bankroll the venture under Northstar Entertainment banner. Rumours are doing the rounds that the film will be a remake of hit Tamil film ‘Veeram’. However, an official confirmation is awaited. The first schedule is expected to kick-start in June.
