Sonakshi Out, Adah In For Commando Sequel

The Vidyut Jamwal starrer Commando will be getting a sequel and reports state that Adah Sharma has been roped in as the female lead. Initially, Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to play the role but looks like the filmmakers have changed their decision. Adah confirmed the reports and said, “It's a crazy role! And probably, the most difficult one I have done so far”.

Talking about the film which will be an action drama, the actress shared, “I have been training in gymnastics since I was three. And I also have learnt Kalaripayattu. So, I think the acrobatics in the action sequences shouldn't be too much of a challenge. More than the stunts however, the character itself is so well-written that it excites me to work for this film”.

The original film came out in 2013 and starred Pooja Chopra, Jaideep Ahlawat and Darshan Jariwala, along with Vidyut. It was directed by Dilip Ghosh. Adah made her debut in the Telugu industry with the film ‘Heart Attack’ which was directed by Puri Jagganath.
