SS Rajamouli’s Mahabharata To Feature Ace Actors?

Director S. S. Rajamouli is widely recognized for directing the epic historical fiction film, ‘Baahubali’. The film was a tremendous hit, breaking many box-office records, both in Bollywood and South Indian film industry. The sequel of this film, titled ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, will hit the screens in April 2017.

The latest news about this versatile filmmaker is that he is planning to direct Mahabharata. A source reportedly informed that Rajamouli is aiming to rope in ace actors like Aamir Khan, Rajinikanth and Mohanlal in lead roles for his next project. These actors are superstars in their respective film industry.

Screenplay writer and Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad divulged some details about this project. He said, “Right now, we are yet to finalise on the cast and other details. It is a long process and it will take a long time to materialise. Of course, I will be working on the screenplay of the film.” Currently, S. S. Rajamouli is awaiting the release of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’,which will star Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles.
