Swathi’s Tripura launched in Hyderabad
Updated : April 06, 2016 10:59 AM IST Tollywood actress Swathi has apparently been roped in to play a significant role in a women-centric film titled 'Tripura'. Directed by Raja Kiran and produced by A. Chinnababu and M. Rajasekhar, the film would be presented by Swathi and Pavani. Interestingly, Swathi will be seen in a female-oriented movie for the first time.

Boyapati Srinu, Santosh Srinivas, Ali, Satyam Rajesh were recently spotted at the producer's office in Hyderabad, where the film was officially launched. Boyapati, Ali and Kona Venkat presented the script to the 'Tripura' team.
Talking about the film, Rajakiran said, "I am very happy to be working with Kona Venkat once again. Swathi's character will be the highlight of this film and 'Andhala Rakshai' fame Naveen Chandra is playing an important character. This film will be more thrilling than 'Geethanjali'".
Kona Venkat added, "I am happy to be working as screenplay writer for this film. I know how talented the director is. I was very excited when I heard the story of this film".
The shooting will commence from April 15 in Hyderabad.
