Teja Hopes Latest Flick ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ To Do Well

Filmmaker Teja hopes that his latest directorial ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ will be a smash hit. The previous flicks helmed by the director bombed at the box office. Although, Teja’s first three movies starring debutant actors were a great success.  

The last blockbuster movie helmed by the auteur was Jayam back in 2002. Teja has high hopes for his newly released movie, ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’. The movie stars Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. Teja was quoted as saying, “If two other films were not releasing on the same day, I would have been confident”.

The director further added, “If you look at my track record, I delivered continuous flops. Even  actor Rana has not had any blockbuster as a lead actor. So I am a bit worried, but I have tried something different this time and hope it works”. Regarding the movie, Teja said, “It’s a complete family drama, but there are some political scenes. You will see many incidents in my film that happened in our country”.
