To Prevent The Clash Of Akshay Starrer '2.0' and 'Padman', '2.0' Gets Postponed! Binny Vas Crticises The Decision!

A shocking news for all the Rajinikanth fans, the release date of the upcoming high budget movie ‘2.0’ has been postponed to April 27, 2018. This step has been taken to prevent the clash of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘ Padman ’ with ‘2.0’ which also stars Akshay. This news has not gone down well with Tollywood.

Many Tollywood directors had planned to release their respective movies on the April 27, 2018. According to sources, makers of Allu Arjun ’s ‘Naa Peru Surya’ and Mahesh Babu ’s ‘ Bharat Ane Nenu’, which were slated to release on the same date, have already initiated talks to find a solution. Regarding this issue, producer Bunny Vas took to his social media handle to criticize the makers of ‘2.0’.

Binny’s post read as, “@lyka productions (robo 2.0)..... we respect ur movie but ur changing of release dates is affecting regional movies’ release dates a lot ....me (naa peru surya naa ellu india) and dhanaya garu (bharath anu nenu) are in talks for an understanding ....i will take this issue to the producer’s council and exhibitor associations AP & Telangana ...we stand for our date commitment ...maybe this will be helpful for regional movie releases in future also ... (sic)”.
