TV Anchor Lasya Is Opposed To Doing Glamorous Roles

TV host Lasya is all set to make her debut in Tollywood with ‘Raja Meeru Keka’ where she will be seen playing the role of software engineer. The newly turned actress is all excited for her debut movie. Directed by Krishna Kishore, the story of the film revolves around the relationship of four best friends.

However, Lasya who has done numerous TV shows finds acting different from anchoring. “Anchoring needs lot of energy and spontaneity. Acting, on the other hand, has a lot of different shades,” she said. She further added, “I told the director that I don’t know anything about acting. He said that he will teach me, and I have just followed his instructions.”

The anchor was offered many roles earlier but she declined them as they were glamorous. Lasya says that she will pick up the roles after thoroughly reading the script. She is against glamorous roles, however, she said that she is ready to glamorous roles only if they are performance oriented.
