Vanya takes back seat, fails in holding onto Kalyanram’s ‘Sher’

Looks like someone will have to take a back seat. While Kalyanram’s upcoming film ‘Sher’ is being produced with enthusiasm, the filmmakers have decided to replace the 2012 Miss India World, after completing shooting for the talkie part. According to some speculations, Vanya Mishra will be replaced by Sonal Chauhan.

"Ever since Kalyanram's recent film Pataas turned out to be a hit, there's a lot more curiosity about his upcoming film (Sher). The stakes are much higher and the makers felt that having a 'known face' would work in favour of the film", said a source from the film’s unit. It is beginning to look like Vanya was roped in the film just to create a greater market sparkle for this Mallikarjun directorial.

The source also added, "Sonal liked the role and expressed interest in being part of the film. She is yet to sign the dotted line; however, talks with her are at an advanced stage at the moment”. Sonal is turning out to be a shining star as she continues to bag big projects like Ram's ‘Pandaga Chesko’ and Anushka-starrer ‘Size Zero’.
