Vijay most popular South Indian actor

In a proud moment, superstar Vijay is the most popular actor of the South Indian film industry as per the latest Forbes India Celebrity list. In the prestigious list of India’s top 100 celebrities, Vijay clinched the 28^thspot defeating other South superstars like Suriya who stood 43, Ajith who bagged number 61 and Vikram who grabbed number 67. However, the Oscar winner music maestro A.R. Rahman held 20th position.

The overall winner was Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who was ahead of Salman Khan (2), MS Dhoni, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar. In actresses category, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif grabbed top spots by coming 7 and 10 respectively.
