Vishnu Manchu To Play A Romantic Husband In ‘Gayatri’

Actor Vishnu Manchu who has mostly portrayed suave and glamorous roles in the past is all set to turn demure in his next movie. Titled ‘Gayatri’, the movie will see Vishnu as a common man without any brouhaha. He will be seen in a key role in the flick.

Vishnu’s father Mohan Babu will be seen in the lead role in the flick. According to reports in Deccan Chronicle, the Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam actor will play a simple, romantic guy who loves a wife a lot. The report further stated that the role was structured according to Vishnu’s personality. Apart from acting, Manchu has also produced the flick.

Directed by Madan Ramigani, the movie will also star Shriya Saran and Anasuya Bharadwaj with the former playing Vishnu’s wife. The makers released the film’s poster recently which is quite opposite to the earlier poster that featured Mohan Babu. The recent poster showed the loving Vishnu braiding his wife’s hair.

‘Gayatri’ will see Mohan essaying dual roles, one of a hero, while the other will depict him as a villain. The movie is all set to hit theatres on February 9, 2018.
