Vishnu starrer Anukshanam to release on September 12

Tollywood thriller flick Anukshanam which was all set to hit the screen this month, will now release next month. The movie has already been cleared by theCensor Board with an ‘A’ certificate and is expected to open on September 12.

Based on the real story of a serial sex killer and a police officer, the movie is inspired by true events and features Vishnu Manchu in the lead role. Revathi, Tejaswi, Madhu Shalini, Srinivasa Rao and Brahmanandam would be cast in supporting roles and Navdeep will be seen in a cameo appearance in the crime story directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

Anukshanam is supposed to bethe first Tollywood film to release through the auction system. “I was incredibly lucky to have worked with intelligent directors like RGV who care enormously for actors and push them to raise the bar,” says Vishnu. The bidding for Anukshanam began online on August 2 and the unit seems excited with the response.
