Vishwaroopam to release as scheduled

Despite threats from theatre owners, Tollywood megastar Kamal Hassan's ambitious filmViswaroopamwill hit theatres as planned. Theatre owners threatened to ban the film in Tamil Nadu after Kamal decided to release it on DTH network. However, the superstar has made it clear that'Viswaroopamwould be released as per its previous schedule on January 11 on Pongal. Kamal confirmed on Twitter, “Vishwaroopam'sDTH premiere will be available on Airtel, Sun Direct, Dish TV, Videocon and Big TV. The premiere of the film is at 9.30 pm on January 10, a day before its theatrical release”.
