Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special Trailer - Watch the team travel to Earth to get peter the perfect gift in this hilarious trailer

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which will be streaming on Disney+ in November, released its first trailer. This will be the MCU 's second special feature after the recent Werewolf by Night. The special will be the final entry in the fourth phase of the MCU and will focus on the team traveling to Earth to cheer Peter up for the holidays by finding him a 'special someone'.

That special someone is non-other than Footloose star Kevin Bacon, who will be making his MCU debut in the special.

Fans of the franchise will know that Peter Quill aka Star-Lord is a huge fan of the actor and the movie because it was his mother's favorite.

In the trailer, we see a very drunk Drax and Mantis deciding to bring the actor to space to meet Peter, and it is clear that Kevin Bacon isn't exactly thrilled at the idea.

The trailer also has the team spending a lot of time on Earth trying to understand Christmas, and we can expect a lot of funny fish-out-of-water scenarios.

Fans can also look forward to the return of Yando, played by Michael Rooker. Who will be making an appearance in the special as well. Director James Gunn has made it clear that he will not be bringing the character back to life as it would make his sacrifice at the end of Volume 2 meaningless.

So it is most likely that we will be seeing the actor back in a flashback or dream sequence.

The Holiday Special stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker and Kevin Bacon.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will stream on Disney+ on November 25.
