Kapil Sharma's wife Ginni Chatrath says 'socha iss garib ka bhala kardu' when asked why she married him

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath have been together for a long time now. The duo had gotten married in 2018, but had been dating since Ginni was in college. Now, in the trailer of Kapil's upcoming Netflix Special- I Am Not Done Yet, we see how brutally Ginni can roast Kapil Sharma.

In the trailer, Kapil says that he knew that he had to settle down with Ginni. He then asks Ginni, who is seated in the audience, why she chose a 'scooter wala ladka'. She savagely replies, 'Maine socha paise wale se toh sabhi pyaar karte hai, iss garib ka bhala hi kar doon'. The audience errupts. Moreover, Kapil hilariously said that when he stands in the mirror and repeats to himself 'I'm not done yet', Ginni had once interrupted him. He says, "Peeche se meri wife ne takiya mara mujhe phek ke. Bolti 'der saal me do bacche ho gaye, what's your plan'." See the trailer here:

Kapil and Ginni had tied the knot in 2018. The duo had been dating way before that, presumably from their college days. In an interview with The Man magazine, Kapil Sharma had earlier revealed, “Ginni was in a girls’ college in Jalandhar doing her graduation, 3-4 years my junior, and I was in a co-ed college studying for a PG diploma in commercial arts. For pocket money, I would participate in theatre and visit other colleges. She was a really good student of mine. Now, of course, she’s become my teacher after marriage! She was good at skits and histrionics, so I made her my assistant. Then I found out that madam started liking me, so I explained to her that the car you come in costs more than what my entire family put together is worth! So, it just wouldn’t be possible between us.” But well, God obviously made sure that these two stick together and now Kapil Sharma is one of the highest-earning TV celebs.
