What makes #panchayat2 so fantastic is that creators have retained the essence of last season in the best possible way.Same amount of innocence, fun as heart-warming as ever.A nostalgic reminder of old rural days for someone whose roots are from a village, especially UP and Bihar.

However, a section of people compared the series to the upcoming Zoya Akhtar 's The Archies starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda , and Khushi Kapoor . One of the users wrote, "Indians will always prefer #panchayat2 over this super gloomy picnic cinema, barring Netflix 's core audience of 20 people from South Delhi." Another commented, "Rather than making a series on indian comics they are choosing foreign comic character. #tvf you guys are doing great."
