When Pratik Sehajpal entered the Bigg Boss OTT house, many referred to him as ‘angry young man’. However, over the course of his journey, he emerged to be one of the most caring, hard-working and passionate contestants of the reality show. When he made it to the top 5, he opted for a briefcase with a ticket to Bigg Boss 15 , and fans eagerly waited to see him shine on-screen again. Once again he won our hearts and even impressed host Salman Khan . This time Pratik reached the top two, but sadly lost the trophy to Tejasswi Prakash due to audiences’ votes. Not just fans but even celebrities were heartbroken to see that he didn’t win. Karan Nath, who was a contestant of BB OTT and had a chance to get to know Pratik, was shocked by the verdict.
In a chat with ETimes, Karan shared, “I was rooting for Pratik since the start. It was disappointing for me to see that Pratik didn't win the trophy but I know his journey and he has come a long way. For me, Pratik has won the show. I wanted Divya Agarwal and Pratik Sehajpal to win the show. OTT was won by Divya and now the runner-up of BB 15 is Pratik. Since the start, I knew he would go a long way on the show, and I was right. I am extremely proud and happy for him and his family. I have been in touch with his sister and for all of us, he has done extremely well.”
Karan further lauded Pratik’s focus and added, “But Pratik was eating, breathing and living the show.” The actor revealed that he last spoke to Pratik before the latter entered Bigg Boss 15. Now that he is out, Karan hopes to catch up with him soon again. Well, Pratik may have lost the trophy but he definitely won the audience over. Post the grand finale, ex contestants like Gauahar Khan, Kamya Punjabi and VJ Andy, along with many netizens, took to social media to call Pratik Sehajpal the real winner of this season.
