Bigg Boss 16: Is Priyanka and Nimrit's rivalry on the show just a cheap gimmick?

If there are two contestants on Bigg Boss 16 who haven’t seen eye to eye right since the inception of the show, it has to be Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary . The two were seen at extreme loggerheads with each other and the rivalry only intensified with each passing time. However, while people had some divided opinions on this enmity, some neutral fans of the show also felt that their equation might also be a gimmick.

If we try to analyze Priyanka and Nimrit’s relationship, both the ladies never had strong valid points to target each other on the show. Nimrit was always seen getting insecure about the Udaariyan actress and losing her temper on the latter in the smallest matter. While on the other hand, Priyanka set down the narrative of Nimrit never playing alone on the show but she herself had the support of a particular contestant in the game at every point on the show. Not only this but fans never saw any organic factor in this fight.

Unlike Shiv Thakare and Priyanka’s clash which is exciting to watch, the latter’s fight with Nimrit only aggravates during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode which only seems like an aspect to get some extra footage. Apart from that, it was recently revealed in the latest episode that Nimrit got a bitter vibe from Priyanka when they interacted with each other and shot an episode of Ranveer Singh’s The Big Picture together. However, fans also dished out a throwback interview of Nimrit wherein she can also be seen praising Priyanka. Take a look.

Nimrit says that it is a myth that two actresses cannot be friends and that she found Priyanka’s energy fun.
