Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 star Rubina Dilaik went blank during 1st performance in front of Madhuri Dixit; ‘I was frozen’

One of the most adored stars of Indian television, Rubina Dilaik rose to prominence with her spectacular performance in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Her character Soumya was both endearing and powerful. But it was through Bigg Boss 14 that we got a chance to meet real-life Rubina, who left fans in awe with her fierce personality. After lifting the trophy of Salman Khan’s show, the actress went on to compete in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. Well, Rubina is now busy gearing up for her next reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 .

In a promo, the actress revealed that she had been waiting since 8 years to be a participant of the reality show. Talking about judge Madhuri Dixit to ETimes, Rubina called the Dhak Dhak star her first idol. She even revealed that she froze when she performed in front of the actress for the first time. Rubina was quoted saying, “I was blank when I made my first performance in front of Madhuri Dixit. I had dreamt, envisioned the moment of meeting or performing in front of Madhuri ma’am for the last so many years and I had planned I would say this or that and when the moment came I froze. I was frozen in the ecstasy of her.”

She also opened up about Madhuri’s co-judges-- filmmaker Karan Johar and dancer Nora Fatehi. Rubina described KJo as ‘multifaceted’ and shared, “He is a great inspiration and an excellent host. His sense of timing and awareness is wow. Nora as we all know is the hot sensation of our country. The kind of new dance form that she has brought to our country is amazing.” The actress feels honored to be dancing in front of this panel of judges.
