Junooniyatt: Ankit Gupta channels his inner Shah Rukh Khan, woos female fans in the ladies room; watch

Soon after stepping out of the Bigg Boss 16 house, television heartthrob Ankit Gupta signed his next project titled Junooniyatt . He will be reuniting with his BB16 housemate Gautam Vig in the upcoming show where they will be seen as musicians. In the first teaser, we were officially introduced to Ankit as Jahaan who has an emotional backstory and a guitar over his shoulder. As he walked into a field like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’s Raj, the actor stated, “Mere alfaaz meri taakat hai, aur meri awaaz mera yakeen.” Fans were over the moon with joy to see him in a romantic avatar yet again!

Much to the delight of fans, the makers have shared yet another teaser of Junooniyatt today. In the first promo we got a glimpse of Jahaan’s love for music. This time, we see him flaunt his other talent– wooing the ladies! As DDLJ’s popular track Tujhe Dekha Toh Ye Jana Sanam plays in the background, Ankit aka Jahaan spreads his arms before playing the imaginary keyboard like Shah Rukh Khan did in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Watching Ankit channel his inner SRK in the ladies room while his female fans gush over him is a total delight. We just can’t get enough of him!

Ankit’s charm got a similar reaction from fans in the comment section of this teaser. One social media user shared, “Ankit is the SRK of TV Industry❤️🔥”, whereas another wrote: “I can't wait to watch this show❤️❤️.” But there were also some who mentioned his best friend and Udaariyaan co-star Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s name in the comments. For instance, one netizen joked, “Priyanka se permission Li h na bhai ???😂” Well, Ankit and Priyanka’s chemistry in Udaariyaan set the bar pretty high for TV shows. We can’t wait to see if Ankit’s on-screen love story with Neha Rana aka Elahi in Junooniyatt manages to surpass it.
