Kapil Sharma in legal trouble after show promoter files case against him for breach of contract
Comedian Kapil Sharma seems to have embroiled himself in legal trouble. A case has been filed against him for breach of contract in one of his earlier North America tours.

Comedian Kapil Sharma seems to have embroiled himself in legal trouble. A case has been filed against him for breach of contract in one of his earlier North America tours. Sai USA filed the case against Kapil claiming that he had performed a breach of contract during his 2015 tour of North America.
According to a news report in Etimes, Amit Jaitly who is a show promoter in America alleged that Kapil Sharma had signed to perform at six shows in North America in the year 2015 and was also paid for the same. However, Kapil failed to perform at one of the six shows but had committed to the promoter that he will compensate for the same. Amit was quoted to reveal, "He did not perform and has not responded although we tried several times to get in touch with him before the court.''
Amit Jaitly furthermore revealed to ETimes TV that the case with Kapil Sharma is still pending at the New York court and that they will be taking legal action against the comedian. For the unversed, Kapil is currently touring in Canada and is slated to perform in New York in the second week of July. Sharma had headed off to Canada along with the team of his The Kapil Sharma Show .

Kapil Sharma is currently performing in Canada along with Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, Chandan Prabhakar , Kiku Sharda , and Sumona Chakravarti. The comedian is currently in Toronto to perform for another show. Kapil however remained unavailable for comment on the same.
