Mohd. Danish asked if Indian Idol co contestants Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are dating; here's what he said

Indian Idol may be over but fans of season 12 are still in awe of the talents turned celebrities from the show. The season did bring together an incredible group of talent many of whom walked away as good friends in the end. However it is Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan’s closeness with co-contestant Arunita Kanjilal that got the attention a lot of fans.

For the longest time the two have been linked up together romantically and despite having refuted these rumours fans continue to root for them. Indian Idol finalist Mohd. Danish spoke about Pawandeep and Arunita’s link-up chasing them from the days of the show and said that being close friends, they all teased the two about this.

“Really speaking, Pawandeep and Arunita are very, very, good friends. They are best friends and have a fantastic bond between them. We all teased them about their link-up. We used to tell them: Arre, Adi bhaiyya (Aditya Narayan, host) ne aaj kya bol diya! Arre, Himesh bhai (Reshammiya, judge) ne aaj kya bol diya! Bahut mazaa aata tha unko tease karne mein,” He told Etimes during an interview.

When Danish was asked outright if there was any truth to Arunita and Pawandeep’s link-up, he said, “Mujhe toh aise nahin laga”.

Arunita and Pawandeep have pretty much said that same thing time and again when confronted about their great bond and closeness since Indian Idol 12 where they were often teased by each other’s names.

Indian Idol contestants Mohd. Danish, Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Sayli Kamble will now reunite on Superstar Singer 2 and serve as captains.
